Filtration standard EN ISO 16890

It is very precise used since July 2018. It replaced the previous EN 779. It can not be directly translated into the previous standard, because it allows to precisely determine the filtration level for Coarse particles (coarse)> 4 μm, ePM1, ePM2,5, ePM10 in each from previously used classes. For human health, the worst particles are <1 μm. The ePM1 indicator allows customers to find out to what extent a given filter stops the worst health of particles circulating in the air.
